6.4 Smart Contract Architecture Overview


Parax’s smart contract suite is modular and upgradeable, comprising the core asset registry, fractionalization modules, marketplace contracts, and oracle integration layers. Access control mechanisms are rigorously enforced through role-based permissions, restricting sensitive operations such as minting, burning, and custody updates to authorized parties. Oracle contracts serve as bridges between the off-chain verification framework and the on-chain token registry, committing attestation signatures and status changes in real time. The architecture is designed to support extensibility for future integrations such as DeFi lending, insurance primitives, and cross-chain interoperability.
