3.5 Off-Chain Attestation Model
To connect physical-world asset events with on-chain state, Parax employs a decentralized oracle framework for off-chain attestation. Custodial events: such as vault intake, redemption, and transfer: as well as human validator judgments are cryptographically signed with timestamped credentials and submitted via attestation relayers.
Each attestation includes the validator or custodian’s public-key signature, a unique event hash incorporating timestamp, asset ID, and event type, and relevant metadata such as location and outcome. These attestations are aggregated, verified, and committed to the Parax asset registry smart contract, serving as a canonical record of asset provenance and state changes.
Future roadmap initiatives include integration with W3C Verifiable Credentials and decentralized identity protocols to enhance interoperability and trust guarantees across protocols.
